EliRoam: User testing begins at the Budapest Zoo
The user testing phase of EliRoam, our portable immunoassay solution for non-invasive hormone monitoring, has started at the Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden. The zoo team will analyse samples from Angele the elephant and Banu the Persian leopard to follow changes in their progesterone levels. Feedback and suggestions from the zoo will be built into the further development of the product, supporting the care of endangered species. We are grateful to the Budapest Zoo for their trust and collaboration.
Vet-Inno TTC PoC Workshop: last week of October
Vet-Inno TTC will hold its Proof-of-Concept (PoC) workshop in the last week of October. The programme includes talks on how the TTC works and on previous PoC projects, as well as a session designed for new applicants, where the 2026 PoC call for applications will also be announced.

This spring, Prof. Gábor Bodó, head of the Department and Clinic of Equine Medicine, was invited to Colorado State University to perform a demonstration surgery — showcasing the equine-adapted mosaicplasty technique. The patient, Lenny, a 4-year-old Quarter Horse being treated for a knee joint cyst, is recovering well and progressing through rehabilitation.

Vet-Inno TTC’s scientific advisor Dr. Csaba Pribenszky presented PreconCell™ at the 42nd Annual Meeting of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) in London, July 5–8, 2026 — the largest international event in reproductive medicine and embryology. The goal was to explore market opportunities and regulatory considerations, and to identify strategic partners for bringing the technology to the human IVF market. Conversations with CooperSurgical and Nexpring provided valuable market insight, and the most promising partnership discussions are ongoing with three companies: MiniTube (Germany), ASTEC (Japan), and VitaVitro (China).
